They are opened late for my late night munchies past 10pm. The waitress was still happy to serve us at 11 pm and also let me order off menu. Bun bo hue. It's not the best but I don't expect them to specialize in it. My boyfriend likes this place for the late hours when we don't Taco Bell or any other fast food. Over All: Their food is not the best Vietnamese in Town, but they open late, have great service, and have a good location! Better than going to fast food late at night. I recommend for yummy food late at night!

I know that I'm old-school, I went to Numbers back in the 80s, I remember the Ocean club and Heaven; but since Van Loch shut down Red Pier is my go-to spot for MY style Vietnamese food. I cannot vouch for its authenticity because I have never been to Vietnam, but I eat barbecue and can tell you fabulous places to go even though I've never been to Kansas. This restaurant will absolutely knock your socks off with their variety of menu choices and their willingness to make substitutions of your choice at no additional charge! Also, they're ALWAYS nice AND open even when their "sandwich partner next door" is CLOSED FOR HOLIDAYS!!

I have been here many times. I usually order their "goi sua tom thit" ( the jelly-fish, shrimp, and pork salad) and the "goi bo tai chanh" (the beef with lemon salad) because not many places are having them. This restaurant closes very late at night which is a good point compared to other places in the area. I tried the bo luc lac as well (the Shaken Beef) and it was ok. Good service, great food. However, they are not always busy even though I came in lunch time, dinner, or mid night. It may be because it is not as cheap as the Les grival next door.

3.5 stars. Craving Vietnamese late on a Saturday night and this place was one of the few that was still open. The decor is a bit grungy and the bars on the windows make me feel like I'm eating in a prison, but don't let that deter you! For the price, Red Pier was a great place to satisfy my craving. - Bun thit nuong cha gio ($7.75): (3.5/5) the egg roll was mediocre, it wasn't very flavorful. It seemed like the frozen ones you just fry and serve. The meat was good, nothing spectacular. The dish overall was just average. - Soup hoanh thanh ($4.95/small): (3/5) for the price, it was a good sized portion. Other than that, the soup was incredibly oily and wasn't flavorful. The wonton were also pretty bland as well. Won't be getting this again. - Mi thap cam ($6.95): (5/5) such a great deal!! For less than $7 you get a large bowl of egg noodles with shrimp, squid, and BBQ pork and a side bowl of soup. You can order this dish wet or dry. The flavor of the noodles was great and the soup was rich. I even dipped my wontons in it to make them more flavorful. Overall, will be back but I will be getting the mi thap cam. I think this place is a better deal with the same quality of food as Mai's.

I've actually been ordering from here via uber eats the last few sundays. Some days when you're lazy, you just want some comfy food and for me it's Vietnamese. Maybe it's because my grandma would cook for me when I lived with her so it just brings back memories. And it's cool to get food from anywhere delivered right to your door. Anyways it's been great. Uber eats has been a new thing for me and Ive been loving it so far! Today I ordered the chicken pho with extra limes and the hu theiu xao. I got my pho brought to me with no chicken and the stir fried noodle dish came with the wrong type of noodles. I don't know exactly how the uber eats-restaurant-correlation works but someone dropped the ball somewhere. The broth was great and satisfied by NEED for something warm today but still!

Food was excellent. Service was great too! I go the beef. It was so tender. Served with white rice on a bed of lettuce and fresh tomatoes. Very good and full of flavor. Tender and not chewy. My grandma go the garlic chicken and that was just as good. She opted for the fried rice 4.50 for a tiny cup of fried rice I should take a star away or that! Also two Vietnamese egg rolls 4.50. Insane! At pho Saigon you get two for like 1.95. They gouge you ok rice and egg roll prices here lol My it the food and service is excellent. I will def go back. They stay open till 3am on Friday and Saturday.
